Inspired by vernacular house design from Kerry’s south western coast, these house plans are designed to face south, or east or if mirrored west. It features a porch with space for boot store, a generous dining-kitchen which forms the central space of the house, leading to a bright family room with windows on three sides – opening to a patio to the west. To the rear are the services spaces - which are designed to be readily extendable.
The bedroom accommodation is on the first floor and consists of three generous double bedrooms which all face south.
Part of a family of designs along with the Laune and the Ferta, a core principle is the inherent flexibility of this particular design - this house is presented as a 3, 4 or 5 bedroom design - with additional scope for extension. If your needs change, the house can too – without compromising the space or aesthetics of the house or your budget. Why build more than you need now, when you can do so in the future?
Externally the house is finished in a simple palette of plaster, slate, dark fascias and windows, half round gutters and zinc roofed extension.
A variant with stone cladding to the living room wing is also shown at the bottom of the side reel of pictures. If you prefer this, please specify.
